  • The Quantum of the Sea is more of a destination ship than a means to travel by.
  • Quantum of the Sea has an extensive range of restaurants and a number of luxury boutique stores which is a new type of cruising.
  • Most of the key activities are paid activities however there is a raft of free ones to enjoy such as Bumper cars, rollers skating, table tennis, swimming and rock climbing however there were long waiting times for all the free activities on board.
  • For the Costa neoRomantica, the passengers who travelled on this were more interested in health and wellbeing than shopping.
  • On board you could have spa treatments, hair consultations, dance classes, yoga classes DIY facial consultations and health and vitality talks.
  • The amenities on board were not as diverse as the Quantum of the Seas but fitted the needs of the passengers.
