  • Much of Carnival’s ethos is centred around having “fun”.
  • The bars attached to the casinos were the most popular bars especially as smoking was permitted here.
  • For drinks which were served in the bar covered all major brands, a selection on Rums and Tequila were on offer to represent a sense of place for the cruise, there was a discount every day on a different cocktail.
  • There were several drinks packages available on the cruises which meant cruisers could buy "unlimited" alcoholic drinks a day for a flat price of $54.95/day or unlimited soda for $7.50/day.
APAC
  • On the Costa neoRomantica there were nine paid restaurants which ranged from a small informal pizzeria to a fine dining restaurant. All the restaurants served mainly western dishes focused around Italian cuisine
  • There were four types of drinks packages available which ranged from the most expensive $45.99 which included all brands and alcohol to $15.99 which just included soft drinks. All the packages were based on daily rates.
  • There were 19 restaurants on board the Quantum of the Seas which was a mix of free and paid - the term "dynamic dining" is used to cover these restaurants as you can eat at a separate restaurant each day of the cruise.
  • There were three drinks packages which ranged from the all-inclusive of $55 to the soft drinks only at $8.50 a day.
